GENERAL INFORMATION

The pump nozzle with fastening details

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the top cover of a belt of the drive of the camshaft.
2. Uncover a block head.
3. Turn a bent shaft so that yokes did not press on a pusher of the replaced nozzle.
4. Weaken an inhaling of lock-nuts 3 and turn out adjusting screws 4 so that yokes concerned plates of springs the pump nozzles.
5. Turn off bolts 2 (see rice. Installation the pump nozzles) fastenings of an axis of yokes, at the same time at first turn off two extreme bolts, then two averages.
6. Remove an axis with yokes assembled.
7. Turn off a bolt 3 fastenings and remove the holder the pump nozzle.
8. Having picked up the screw-driver, disconnect from the pump nozzle a block with wires.
9. Having inserted a special stripper into a groove the pump nozzle under the holder, as shown in the drawing, take out the pump nozzle 2 (1 – T10055 stripper). Mark the pump nozzle not to mix them in places at installation.
10. Examine sealing rings 6, 7 and 8 (see rice. The pump nozzle with fastening details), replace the rings which cracked, torn or lost elasticity.
11. The manufacturer recommends to apply a set of mandrels T10056 to installation of new rings (1 – a mandrel for the top ring; 2 – a mandrel for an average ring; 3 – a mandrel for the lower ring).
12. Carefully, not to damage seats on a nozzle, remove old sealing rings.
13. Remove lock 10 (see rice. The pump nozzle with fastening details) and heat-insulating the 9th rings that they did not prevent to establish mandrels.
14. Carefully wipe seats under sealing rings on a nozzle.
15. Put on a nozzle a mandrel 2 for the top sealing ring and move on it a sealing ring 1 on a nozzle, without overwinding it (3 – a nozzle pusher).
16. In the same way put on average and lower sealing rings. Establish heat-insulating and lock rings.
17. Examine the adjusting screw and a pusher 3 nozzles: if at least on one of them wear tracks are noticeable, replace the screw and a pusher.
18. Grease with jellied lubricant the lower end face of the adjusting screw and a spherical surface of a pusher of a nozzle.
19. Grease with a thin layer of engine oil sealing rings of a nozzle, accurately insert a nozzle into a head of the block and, carefully pressing it, insert into a head against the stop.
20. Establish the holder of a nozzle so that his ledge entered a nozzle groove. The bolt of fastening of the holder needs to be replaced. Screw a new bolt, without tightening it it is final.
21. It is very important that the holder and a nozzle were established perpendicular to the block head plane, otherwise the bolt of fastening of the holder can turn away that the pump nozzle will lead to failure. That the pump nozzle was installed strictly vertically, it is necessary to sustain distance and between the back external plane of a head of the block and a surface the pump nozzle: fourth cylinder of 64,8±0,8 mm, third cylinder of 152,8±0,8 mm, second cylinder of 244,2±0,8 mm, first cylinder of 332,2±0,8 mm.
22. After adjustment of distance and tighten a bolt of fastening of the holder the moment of 12 N · m, then tighten for 270 ° (3/4 turns).
23. Establish an axis of yokes. Bolts of fastening of an axis need to be replaced. Screw manually at first two internal bolts of fastening of an axis, then two extreme. After that tighten internal bolts the moment of 20 N · m, the same moment tighten two extreme bolts. Tighten internal bolts, and then for 90 ° extreme.
24. Turn a bent shaft so that the yoke 3 as much as possible drowned a nozzle pusher, it can be checked by means of the indicator 1 (2 – the pump nozzle).
25. Screw the adjusting screw to a notable emphasis in a nozzle pusher, then for 225 °, and then turn off a little, as shown in the drawing.
26. Holding the adjusting screw in this situation, tighten its lock-nut the moment of 30 N · m.
27. Establish all removed details upside-down.
