4.24. Check of the sensor of position of the camshaft

DIESEL ENGINE of 1,9 l, 74 kW

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the top casing of the engine (see subsection 2.1).
2. Disconnect a block 1 with wires from the sensor 2 provisions of the camshaft.
3. Include ignition. Measure tension, having connected the voltmeter between contact of 1 block and "mass" of the engine, and then between contact 3 and the + plug of the rechargeable battery, in both cases the voltmeter has to show tension of the rechargeable battery.
4. Otherwise check wires for break and short circuit. If wires are serviceable, tension equally specified, and the engine does not work normally, replace the sensor of position of the camshaft. If wires are serviceable, and the voltmeter shows 0, replace the control unit of the engine.
