1. Disconnect from the valve 4 (see rice. The fuel filter of the car with the diesel engine of 1,9 l, 74 kW) fuel heating hoses 1 and 5. |
2. Take out a clamp 3. |
3. Remove the valve 4 from the fuel filter 7. |
4. Via the union which the hose 1 joins pump in the valve cold water (temperature below 15 °C) – water has to follow from the valve via the lower union (by which the valve is attached to the fuel filter). Then pump in the valve warm water (temperature above 31 °C) – the valve has to be closed and water has to go out of the valve via the union to which the hose 5 is connected. If it does not occur, so the valve is faulty and it needs to be replaced. |
