1. Remove the top casing of the engine (see subsection 2.1). |
2. At engines of 1,4 l, 55 and 74 kW disconnect a block with wires from the ignition module. |
3. Disconnect blocks with wires from nozzles. |
4. Connect the electric indicator of tension with a light-emitting diode to contacts of the block 1 disconnected from a nozzle 2 first cylinders (3 – tension indicator with a light-emitting diode). |
5. Turn the engine a starter, at the same time the light-emitting diode has to blink. It means that food on a nozzle moves. In the same way check other nozzles. |
6. If at an engine provorachivaniye the diode does not blink, connect tension indicator to contact of 1 block (2 – the second contact) disconnected from a nozzle of the first cylinder and to "weight" (and – engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW; – engines of 1,4 l, 55 and 74 kW). Turn the engine a starter, the light-emitting diode has to blink; if does not blink, check wires for break and short circuit. Similarly check other nozzles. |
7. If there is no break in wires, check resistance of nozzles. For this purpose connect an ohmmeter to contacts of a nozzle and measure resistance. For engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW it has to be 14–20 Ohms; for engines of 1,4 l, 55 and 74 kW – 14–17 Ohms (at 20 °C, at the heated-up engine resistance is about 4-6 Ohms higher). If resistance differs from specified, replace nozzles. |
