2.12.1. Dismantling

GENERAL INFORMATION

Details of the drive of valves of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW

1 – kormyset an axis valves;
2 – lock ring;
3 – external rack of an axis of yokes;
4 – spring ring;
5 – yoke;
6 – adjusting screw;

Camshaft of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW

1 – pusher bar;

Removal of a hydropusher of the valve

1 – valve hydropusher;

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a head of the block of cylinders (see subsection 2.7).
2. Remove an inlet pipe (see subsection 4.11) and a final collector.
3. Remove oil scraper caps (see subsection 2.9).
4. Take out valves from a head, previously having marked them not to mix at installation.
5. For the engine of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW execute the following:
      – mark racks and yokes not to mix them at installation;
      – remove lock rings 2 (see rice. Details of the drive of valves of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW);
      – remove from an axis of 1 rack 3, 8, 9 and yokes 5. If there is no need, do not turn off;
      – adjusting screws 6 and lock-nuts 7 not to break adjustment of valves;
      – remove persistent rings 10, yokes 5 and a spring 11;
      – take out bars 1 (see rice. The camshaft of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW) pushers from the block of 3 cylinders also mark them not to mix at installation;
      – take out hydropushers of 2 valves from the block of cylinders. For this purpose make a hook of a wire with a diameter of 1,8 / 1,9 mm, as shown in the drawing (see rice. Removal of a hydropusher of the valve). Insert a hook into an opening of a hydropusher and hook on a pusher. Mark hydropushers not to mix at installation.
6. At the TDI engine of 1,9 l, 74 kW remove the pump nozzle (see subsection 4.14.4).
