2.12.4. Grinding in of valves

For check of tightness of valves turn a head combustion chambers up and pour in them kerosene. If within 3 min. kerosene does not filter from combustion chambers, valves are tight.

1. Apply a thin film of pritirochny paste on a working facet of the valve and insert the valve into a block head.
2. Clamp a valve core in the device for grinding in.
3. Turn the valve in both parties by means of adaptation, periodically pressing the valve to a saddle. An external sign of satisfactory grinding in is monophonic opaque gray color of working facets of the valve and a saddle.
4. After grinding in carefully wipe with a pure rag the valve and a saddle, and then wash out for removal of the remains of pritirochny paste.
