2.7. Replacement of laying of a head of the block of cylinders

Replacement of laying is shown on the diesel engine, on other engines replacement is made similarly.
Prevention

For diesel engines in spare parts the laying of three standard sizes differing in thickness is delivered. When replacing it is necessary to establish new laying with the same marking, as on old.

At each removal of a head of the block at all engines, except engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4l, 50 kW, it is necessary to replace bolts of fastening of a head of the block with new.

At engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4l, 50 kW before a wraparound of bolts of fastening of a head of the block it is necessary to grease their carving with a thin layer of engine oil.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Merge liquid from the engine cooling system (see subsection 5.13).
3. Remove the top casing of the engine (see subsection 2.1).
4. Remove the air filter together with an air duct (see subsection 4.1).
5. Remove the rechargeable battery and its arm (see subsection 10.2).
6. Turn off bolts of fastening and remove a back air duct (from the air filter to a turbocompressor).
7. Disconnect a block with wires of candles of an incandescence from a plait of wires.
8. Disconnect a reception pipe of the muffler from a final collector (see subsection 6.2 and subsection 6.3).
9. Disconnect hoses 1 and 2 from a turbocompressor, previously having turned off a bolt of fastening of the lower air duct to an arm (see rice. Turbocompressor (bottom view)).
10. Turn off a cap nut and disconnect a drain hose 6 from the block of cylinders.
11. Turn off a bolt 3, weaken an inhaling of a bolt 5 and turn an arm 4 down.
12. Disconnect a vacuum hose 7 from the pressurization pressure regulator.
13. Turn off bolts of fastening and, without disconnecting from it hoses, remove the case of a butterfly valve from an inlet pipe of the engine. Put the case of a butterfly valve aside.
14. Turn off bolts 6 (see rice. A head of the block of cylinders of the engine of 1,9 l, 74 kW) fastening also uncover 1 head of the block and laying 7.
15. Disconnect a hose 16 from the fuel filter and muffle it that fuel did not follow from it.
16. Disconnect hoses of giving 1 and plum 4 fuels from fuel tubes and a hose of the 5th supply of cooling liquid (2 – a connecting block of a plait of nozzles; 3 – fuel temperature sensor).
17. Disconnect a block with wires from the sensor 3 temperatures of fuel.
18. Disconnect a block with wires from a block 10 (see rice. Head of the block of cylinders of the engine of 1,9 l, 74 kW) plait of nozzles.
19. Disconnect and pick up the oil supply phone to a turbocompressor.
20. Disconnect hoses 1, 2 and 3 cooling systems of the engine (4 – the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid).
21. Disconnect a block with wires from the sensor 4 temperatures of cooling liquid.
22. Disconnect a hose 3 from a tee 4 (see rice. Heater hoses).
23. Disconnect a hose 6 from the pump 5.
24. Take off a camshaft drive belt (see subsection 2.4.1). Turn a bent shaft from the provision of VMT a little back.
25. Remove a pulley and a nave of a pulley of the camshaft (see subsection 2.8).
26. Remove the water pump (see subsection 5.5 and subsection 5.6).
27. Remove the sensor of position of the camshaft (see subsection 4.24).
28. Remove a back cover of a belt of the drive of the camshaft.
29. Screw a bolt in an opening of fastening of a support of the power unit that it was possible to hang out the engine.
30. Turn off bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders on 2–3 turns in the sequence shown in the drawing and then turn out them.
31. Remove a head of the block of cylinders. If the head does not manage to be torn off from the block, it is possible to shift it weak blows of the rubber hammer.
32. Remove laying of a head of the block.
33. Carefully clear the privalochny surfaces of the block and a head of the remains of old laying, dirt and oil.
34. Remove oil from carving openings in the block of cylinders under bolts of fastening of a head.
35. Turn a bent shaft so that all pistons were in the middle of cylinders.
36. Establish new laying on the directing pins 1 so that number of a detail on laying was from above. If pins dropped out, it is necessary to insert new (2 – the block of cylinders).
37. Establish a head of the block and manually wrap bolts of its fastening.
38. Tighten bolts of fastening of a head in the sequence provided in the drawing below in four stages:
      – the 1st – the moment of 40 N · m;
      – the 2nd – the moment of 60 N · m;
      – – tighten the 3rd on 90 °;
      – – tighten the 4th for 90 °.
39. After installation of a pulley of the camshaft turn a shaft so that cams of the first cylinder were directed up (from pushers of valves).
40. Establish all removed details upside-down.
