Distributive gear wheels of a bent shaft of the 1,0 l petrol engines, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW deliver in spare parts of three sizes on width differing on 0,2 mm. Gear wheels mark the letters E, F and G which beat out on a gear wheel nave over a groove for a spline, as shown in the drawing. When replacing it is necessary to establish a gear wheel with the same marking, as well as on old. Otherwise the chain can come off during the operation of the engine.

1. Establish distributive gear wheels on distributive and cranked shaft. Press them in the axial direction and apply a rigid ruler to a camshaft gear wheel, as shown in the drawing (shooters specified tags). |
| 2. Measure a gap by means of probes and (see rice. Selection of a gear wheel of a bent shaft) between a ruler and a gear wheel of a bent shaft. The nominal gap has to be equal (0,11±0,18) mm. |
| 3. If the measured gap differs from specified, it is necessary to establish a gear wheel of other width. |
