9.9.3. Replacement of the lever

GENERAL INFORMATION

Installation of the lever of the parking brake

1 – lever;
2 – lever casing;
3 – equalizer;
4 – adjusting nut;
5 – sealing plug;
6 – the directing tube;

7 – cable of the drive parking
brakes;
8 – lever support;
9 – switch of a control lamp of the parking brake;
10 – nut of fastening of the lever

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.

2. Remove the floor console.

3. Lower the lever of the parking brake against the stop down.

4. Disconnect a wire from the switch 9 (see rice. Installation of the lever of the parking brake) of a control lamp of the parking brake.

5. Weaken an adjusting nut 4 and disconnect tips of cables 7 from the equalizer 3.

6. Turn off two nuts of the 10th fastening of the lever.

7. Remove the lever 1 from a support 8.

8. If necessary remove the switch 9 of a control lamp of the parking brake and the equalizer 3 from the lever.

9. To remove a casing 2, wring out the screw-driver a latch from the lower party of a casing and remove a casing, shifting it on the lever. Establishing a casing into place, pull it over the lever against the stop that it was recorded by a latch.

10. Install the lever of the parking brake upside-down. At the same time replace nuts of fastening of the lever new. Adjust the parking brake.

The inhaling moment гайек fastenings of the lever – 20 N · m to tighten on 90 °.
