9.1.2. Replacement of plugs of a pedal of a brake
GENERAL INFORMATION

Fastening of an axis of a pedal of a brake

 1 – brake pedal;

2 – nut of fastening of an axis;

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Remove a ware box from the driver.
3. Turn off a bolt of fastening and remove an air duct of an obduv of legs of the driver (see subsection 11.6). On the models equipped with the Comfort system remove the central control unit.
4. Remove the braking signal switch (see subsection 9.10.7).
5. Disconnect a block from the sensor of provision of a pedal of an accelerator.
6. Disconnect a brake pedal from a pusher of the vacuum amplifier (see subsection 9.1).
7. Turn off a nut 2 (see rice. Fastening of an axis of a pedal of a brake) fastenings of an axis of a pedal of a brake.
8. Take out axis 3, and then a pedal of 1 brake from an arm 4.
9. Take out the plug 3 (see rice. A brake pedal with plugs) axes from a pedal 1.
10. Take out two plastic plugs 2 of a pedal 1.
11. Insert against the stop without distortion two new plugs 2 into a pedal of 1 brake.
12. Insert the plug 3 axes, previously having greased her cavity with jellied lubricant.
13. Establish a pedal of 1 brake upside-down. At the same time latch a pedal 3 (see rice. Connection of a pedal of a brake to a pusher of the vacuum amplifier) brakes on a spherical tip of a pusher of 1 vacuum amplifier.

The moment of an inhaling of a nut of fastening of an axis of a pedal of a brake – 28 N · m.
