GENERAL INFORMATION

Dismantling of the ABS control unit

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the control unit from the car (see subsection 9.10.2).
2. Unscrew six screws of fastening of the electronic block 8 (see rice. Dismantling of the ABS control unit) of management to the hydraulic device 7.
3. Remove the electronic block 8 from the hydraulic device 7. At the same time do not warp the block, differently valves 2 (see rice. The electronic block with the hydraulic device) the hydraulic device will jam in electromagnetic coils 5 of the electronic block.
4. Accurately wipe with the pure rag moistened in alcohol, the surface of the hydraulic device 1 which is interfaced to the electronic block 6. It is forbidden to process this surface any tool (for example, a shaber, a file, etc.). The hydraulic device with the damaged surface (risks, scratches, etc.), the oxidized or burned contacts 3 needs to be replaced.
5. Laying 4 cannot be replaced separately therefore do not remove it.
6. Clear of dirt a pure rag valves 2, coils 5 and contacts 3. Do not blow in them compressed air from the highway as with air oil and water can get. It is also forbidden to use for cleaning with solvents and the washing liquids.
Prevention

Do not check operation of the pump, bringing tension to contacts of the hydraulic device as they can burn.
7. Accurately put on the electronic block the hydraulic device and, having convinced that valves 2 entered coils 5, press the block 6 to the hydraulic device 1. At the same time the case of the block has to enter for an otbortovka of the hydraulic device.
8. Screw, finally without tightening, average screws 1 and 2 (see rice. Dismantling of the ABS control unit) of fastening. Use only new screws attached to the control unit.
Prevention

It is forbidden "to banish" a defective carving. The hydraulic device with the damaged carving needs to be replaced.
9. Screw by hand screws 3 and 4, and then 5 and 6 on corners.
10. Finally tighten all screws the required moment in that order (see subitems 8 and 9).
11. Install the control unit on the car.

The moment of an inhaling of screws of fastening of the electronic block on the hydraulic device – 3 N · m.
