For example: 185/60 R14 82 T,
where – 185 – tire profile width in mm; – 60 – a series index (the profile height relation to width in %); – R – symbol of radial tires; – 14 – landing diameter of the tire in inches; – 82 – a tire loading capacity index (the maximum load on which the tire is calculated); – T – a speed index (the maximum speed at which the tire can bear loading according to the loading capacity).
On a sidewall also date of issue of the tire is specified. For example: DOT 0100 means that the tire is manufactured in the first week 2000. |
