GENERAL INFORMATION

PETROL ENGINES

Prevention

With converters of the fulfilled gases it is forbidden to apply ethylated gasoline to cars.

Do not add various additives to gasoline.

On all cars, except 1,4 l 74 kW equipped with engines, apply gasoline with octane number 95 (91 is allowed), and with the engine of 1,4 l 74 kW – with octane number 98 (95 are allowed).

Use of gasoline with smaller octane number can result in malfunction of the engine.

Use of gasoline with lower octane number is in case of emergency allowed, but at the same time it is recommended to continue the movement with the minimum loading of the engine with an average frequency of rotation of a bent shaft. As soon as possible fill gasoline with the required octane number.

Gasoline with higher octane number can be used without restrictions. But consider that it will not give any increase in power and decrease in fuel consumption.

DIESEL ENGINES

Apply diesel fuel with cetane number not lower than 49.

At a temperature of air below 0 °C it is necessary to apply winter diesel fuel as from summer fuel in these conditions paraffin which litters a power supply system is emitted.
