1.51. Cleaners and washers of glasses
GENERAL INFORMATION

You watch that rubber inserts did not jump out of holders, otherwise the screen wiper will scratch glass. If glass dry, before inclusion of a screen wiper moisten it with a washer that brushes did not scratch glass.

If during the work of a screen wiper on glass there are crude places, strips, admissions, replace brushes or rubber inserts.

In winter time before a trip always check that brushes did not freeze to glass. If it after all happened, accurately "tear off" their rubber inserts from glass.

Prevention

Clear the polluted rubber inserts of brushes a damp rag. At strong pollution use liquid for a sink of glasses.

You can independently replace rubber inserts of brushes according to the instruction attached by manufacturer to a set of rubber inserts. Two times a year are recommended to carry out replacement.

Removal and installation of brushes of screenwash

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take away levers with brushes from glass.
2. Turn a brush in relation to the lever on 90 °.
3. Press a latch 4 so that the lock ledge 3 on it left an opening in the lever. Shift a brush 2 down the lever 1 so that it left a hook on the lever, and remove it.
4. For installation of a brush pass the lever throughout its opening so that the cut on a latch was directed towards the lever, put on a brush a hook of the lever and move up the lever against the stop.

Removal and installation of a brush of a cleaner of back glass

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take away the lever with a brush from glass.
2. Holding a hand the lever 2 in the top part, take out from it a brush 1. The brush in its middle part fastens to the lever 2 by means of a clamp therefore undertake a brush as it is possible closer to the middle.
3. Establish a brush upside-down, having reliably recorded in the lever.

WASHERS

Washer reservoir arrangement

The tank 3 washers is located in podkapotny space on the left side.

Capacity of a tank models have about 2 l, with washers of headlights – about 5,5 l.

Fill in in a tank clear water, in the winter in the summer – nonfreezing liquid. It is recommended to use nonfreezing liquids of production of well-known companies.
Prevention

Do not fill in in a liquid washer reservoir for the engine cooling system as they are poisonous.

For gas station of a washer reservoir turn off its cover. Check a grid. If it dirty, wash out it and establish into place. Only after that fill in liquid in a tank.

Constantly you watch that level in a washer reservoir was sufficient, do not wait for operation of the sensor of insufficient level of liquid in a tank. Do not include a washer if the level of liquid fell below an opening of a zabornik of the pump in a tank – the electric motor of the pump of a washer can fail.

Observe precautionary measures during the work with nonfreezing liquid.
