1.46. Launch of the engine from an external source
GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

Use only special wires for launch of the engine from an external source.

At a temperature below 0 °C the discharged rechargeable battery can freeze therefore before its start-up it is necessary to warm gradually (for example, in the warm room). Otherwise in attempt of launch of the engine the battery can explode.

Launch of the engine from the rechargeable battery of other car

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install cars so that their rechargeable batteries were as it is possible more closely to each other and there was enough length of wires.
2. Connect a red wire to the + plug of the charged rechargeable battery (on the car - "donor").
3. Connect other end of a red wire to the + plug of the rechargeable battery of your car.
4. Connect a black wire to the - plug of the charged rechargeable battery (on the car - "donor").
5. Connect other end of a black wire to the block of cylinders of the engine. Check reliability of connection.
Prevention

It is forbidden to connect a black wire to the - plug of the discharged battery in order to avoid strong sparking and, as a result, explosion of the gas emitted by the battery.
6. Launch the engine of the car - "donor".
7. Try to launch the engine of your car. If the engine is not launched, wait about 30 with and try to let once again. After the engine was launched, let's it work idling several minutes.
8. Stop the engine of the car - "donor" and disconnect wires upside-down.

Launch of the engine by means of the charging starting arrangement
Prevention

The design of various charging starting arrangements differs therefore strictly follow instructions for use the concrete device according to the instruction of manufacturer.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Transfer the charging starting arrangement to situation START-UP according to the instruction of manufacturer.
2. Connect wires of the charging starting arrangement to plugs of the rechargeable battery, observing polarity.
3. Turn on the charging starting arrangement.
4. Launch the engine. After the engine was launched, at first switch off the charging starting arrangement, then disconnect its wires from plugs of the rechargeable battery.
