9.5.2. Replacement of a brake disk

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Brake disks need to be replaced along with both parties of a forward suspension bracket.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a support from a rotary fist, without disconnecting from it a brake hose (see subsection 9.5.1).

2. Suspend a support on a wire to a suspension bracket spring, watching that the brake hose was not tense, it was not overwound and strongly it was not bent.

3. Turn out the screw 15 (see rice. Forward brake FS III mechanism) of fastening of a brake disk.

4. Moisten with liquid like WD 40 of a junction of a brake disk 14 with a nave 13. Wait a little that the rust was dissolved, and remove dirt and a rust.

5. Remove a brake disk 14 from a nave. At the complicated removal shift a disk the rubber or polymeric hammer.

6. Carefully clear a nave 13.

7. Establish a new disk 14 and screw the screw 15 of its fastening.

8. Establish a support on a rotary fist upside-down, previously having pressed the piston by means of special adaptation or, at its absence, the wooden handle of the hammer. At the same time press on the piston evenly in different points on all circle, watching that the piston did not warp.

9. Establish a wheel. Finally tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel only on the car standing on the earth.

10. Several times press a brake pedal that pistons rose into position.

11. Check and if necessary add brake fluid to the required level in a tank.
