7.3.7. Removal and installation of a back suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

Remove a back suspension bracket from the car completely only for replacement of the damaged beam or replacement of a body. It is possible to repair or replace all other elements of a back suspension bracket without its removal from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect cables of the drive of the parking brake (see subsection 9.9.4).

2. Weaken an inhaling of bolts 1 (see rice. Details of a back suspension bracket with drum brakes) fastenings of back wheels.

3. Establish couplers on both springs of 31 suspension brackets.

4. Lift a back part of the car until a separation of wheels from the earth and establish it on reliable support.

5. Remove both springs 31 (see subsection 7.3.6).

6. Disconnect on both sides of a beam brake hoses from the brake tubes 20 going to wheel cylinders of brake mechanisms of back wheels. Muffle openings of tubes and hoses.

7. Lower a back part of the car until a contact with wheels of the earth and establish on support in this situation.

8. Turn off on both sides of a nut of the 29th fastening of a beam of the 18th suspension bracket to arms of the 30th body.

9. Take out bolts 28. If necessary beat out them the hammer.

10. Roll out on wheels from under the car a beam of a back suspension bracket with brake mechanisms, tubes, hoses and cables.

11. When using for an elevator car raising before a detachment of levers of a suspension bracket from arms of a body substitute support under cups of springs of levers, remove wheels and dismantle a suspension bracket beam with the assistant. If necessary completely sort a back suspension bracket.

12. Establish a beam of a back suspension bracket upside-down. At the same time replace new bolts 23 with nuts 22 lower fastenings of the shock-absorber and bolts 28 with nuts of the 29th fastening of a beam to body arms. Heads of bolts 23 lower fastenings of shock-absorbers at installation have to be directed to an internal part of the car, a head of bolts of the 28th fastening of a beam to body arms – external. 23 and 28 you carry out a final inhaling of bolts on the car standing on the earth (at an inhaling of bolts of fastening of levers of a suspension bracket put freight weighing about 75 kg in a luggage carrier).
