7.2.4. Removal and installation of the lever of a forward suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation of the lever of a forward suspension bracket it is necessary to use a new bolt of fastening of the lever to a beam.

At damage of the rubber-metal hinge of the lever replace the lever assembled with the hinge.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken an inhaling of bolts 9 (see rice. Details of a forward suspension bracket) fastenings of the corresponding wheel.
2. Turn off a nut of the 10th nave.
3. Raise and establish a forward part of the car on reliable support.
4. Remove a forward wheel, having finally turned off bolts of its fastening.
5. Mark the provision of bolts 2 (see rice. Fastening of a spherical support) fastenings of the spherical hinge on the lever of 1 suspension bracket, having led round contours of heads of bolts. It will help to keep approximately after assembly the angles of installation of wheels. Turn off bolts 2 fastenings of a spherical support 3 to the lever.
6. By means of a special stripper 1 (see fig. of Vypressovk of a shlitsevy tip of the external CV JOINT from a nave) a vypressuyta a shlitsevy tip of the external CV JOINT from a nave 2 wheels. In the absence of a stripper it can be made blows of the hammer through a wooden pro-rate on an end face of a shlitsevy tip. Suspend by means of a wire the wheel drive to a body.
7. Having shifted a rack 2 (see subsection 7.2.3) on yourself, establish between it and a body a wooden pro-rate 1.
8. Turn off a bolt 1 (see rice. Fastening of the lever to a beam of a forward suspension bracket) fastenings of the lever 2 to a beam of the 3rd lobby of a suspension bracket.
9. Put forward an eye with the hinge 4 (see rice. Removal of the lever of a forward suspension bracket) of the lever 3 of a beam 5 (not to damage a rubber-metal support 2) and by means of an assembly shovel to 1 vypressuyta a lever axis from a rubber-metal support 2 arms of a suspension bracket.
10. Grease a lever 3 axis with graphite lubricant.
11. Insert a lever axis into a six-sided opening of a rubber-metal support (see subsection 7.2.5), if necessary it is possible to use an assembly shovel. Make sure that the axis enters an opening without gaps, i.e. it is not turned in it. Otherwise the hinge needs to be replaced (see subsection 7.2.6).
12. Screw a new bolt of fastening of the lever to a beam of a forward suspension bracket.
13. Collect a forward suspension bracket upside-down. Finally tighten threaded connections of a suspension bracket on the car standing on the earth.
