7.2.6. Replacement of a rubber-metal support
GENERAL INFORMATION

Installation of a rubber-metal support in a beam arm

1 – a ledge on a support;

2 – a tag on an arm

The rubber-metal support can be replaced, without removing an arm of a beam of a forward suspension bracket from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the lever of a forward suspension bracket from the car (see subsection 7.2.4).
2. By means of a stripper to a vypressuyta an old support from an arm.
3. Press a new support in an arm. At the same time the ledge 1 has to coincide with a tag 2 on an arm.
Prevention

At a press fitting it is allowed grease only it with G294 421 A1 lubricant. All other lubricants can lead to destruction of a support.
4. Install the lever of a forward suspension bracket on the car.
