GENERAL INFORMATION

Marking of a spherical support

Letter L – the left support, R – right; figure 3 specifies that the support is used on models with a size of wheels 13", and figure 4 – 14". Besides, the arrow on a support for models with wheels of 14 in size" specifies the direction of the movement of the car.

Check of gaps in a spherical support

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Check of an axial gap
1. You will hang out a forward wheel.
2. For check of an axial gap in a spherical support shake the lever in the vertical plane in the direction shown by shooters.
Check of a radial gap
3. For check of a radial gap shake a wheel, having undertaken it from above and from below in the direction of an arrow.
4. If at least in one case the side play is felt, the spherical support needs to be replaced.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken an inhaling of bolts of fastening of wheels and a nut of a nave.
2. Raise and establish a forward part of the car on reliable support.
3. Remove a forward wheel, having finally turned off bolts of its fastening.
4. Finally turn off a nave nut.
5. Turn off a nut 14 (see rice. Details of a beam of a forward suspension bracket) finger of a spherical support.
6. Mark the provision of bolts 2 (see rice. Fastening of a spherical support) fastenings of a spherical support on the lever of 1 forward suspension bracket, having led round contours of heads of bolts.
7. Turn off bolts 2 fastenings of a spherical support to the lever.
8. By means of a special stripper 1 (see fig. of Vypressovk of a shlitsevy tip of the external CV JOINT from a nave) a vypressuyta a shlitsevy tip of the external CV JOINT from a nave 2 wheels. In the absence of a stripper it can be made blows of the hammer through a wooden pro-rate on an end face of a shlitsevy tip.
9. Suspend by means of a wire the wheel drive to a body.
10. Having shifted a rack 2 on itself, establish between it and a body a wooden pro-rate 1.
11. By means of a universal stripper to a vypressuyta a finger of a spherical support 15 (see rice. Details of a beam of a forward suspension bracket) from an eye of a rotary fist.
12. Establish according to marking a spherical support on a rotary fist.
13. Put the new clamp of a finger of a spherical support, holding from a provorachivaniye a finger by means of a face key.
14. Grease with graphite lubricant of a vent of a nave and shlitsevy tip of the external CV JOINT.
15. Napressuyte a nave on the wheel drive, having put the new clamp of a nave.
16. Attach the spherical hinge to the lever of a suspension bracket and fix by new bolts, having established bolts according to earlier made marking. Do not allow damages of a protective cover of the spherical hinge.
17. Establish a forward wheel.
