7.1.3.4. Removal and installation of the drive of gear shifting
GENERAL INFORMATION

Detachment of cables of the drive from levers of the 02T transmission

1 – wrench;

2 – flat-nose pliers;

3 – cable of inclusion of transfers;

4 – cable of the choice of transfers;

5 – spherical finger

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the rechargeable battery and an arm of its fastening.
2. Disconnect both cables 3 and 4 from levers on the transmission. For this purpose, using a wrench 1 as the lever and having enclosed under it flat-nose pliers 2 as a support, remove tips of cables from spherical fingers of 5 levers.
3. Turn off three bolts 1 (see rice. Fastenings of an arm of cables of the drive of the transmission of 002 type) fastenings of an arm of 2 cables to the transmission.
4. Remove a gear shifting lever cover (see subsection 7.1.2.4).
5. Having accurately hooked the screw-driver, remove facing 5 (see rice. Details of fastening of a cover of the lever of gear shifting) floor console.
6. Turn off two nuts of 1 forward fastening of the case of the mechanism 2 gear shiftings (see subsection 7.1.2.5).
7. Turn off eight nuts 6 (see rice. The connecting plug of a reception pipe of the muffler on models with the 02T transmission) fastenings also remove a cross-piece 7.
8. Take out from the holder the 5th wire of the oxygen sensor (lambda probe).
9. Unscrew two screws of fastening and remove the protection cover 10 of a block a lambda probe.
10. Having weakened an inhaling of coupling bolts of 3 collars of fastening of the connecting plug 2, disconnect a reception pipe 1 from the resonator 4 systems of production of the fulfilled gases.
11. Disconnect the resonator from a pillow of the 8th fastening of a suspension bracket.
12. Disconnect a reception pipe 17 (see rice. System of production of the fulfilled gases of the engine of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW) from pillows 8.
13. Remove the heat-insulating screen 9 (see rice. The connecting plug of a reception pipe of the muffler on models with the 02T transmission).
14. Turn off a bolt 16 (see rice. Gear shifting mechanism details) fastenings of the case 14 of the mechanism of gear shifting also remove the gear shifting drive from the car.
15. Replace the damaged or strongly pressed out sealing laying 11. The laying 11 executed with a glue layer is pasted on the gear shifting mechanism case.
16. Install the gear shifting drive upside-down. Before connection of cables to levers grease with a thin layer of jellied lubricant of the plug 2 (see subsection 7.1.2.5) tips, without allowing hit of lubricant on consolidation of a tip. After installation adjust the gear shifting drive.
