On a part of models the electric heating element of a heater which in addition warms up air is installed. The element joins the control unit of the engine depending on temperature of air and cooling liquid and loading of the generator at the installed handle on the control panel of a heater on the maximum heating.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Remove the floor console.
3. Merge liquid from the cooling system of the engine or press taking away 1 (see rice. Connection of hoses to a heater radiator) and bringing the 2nd hoses of a radiator of a heater (if the radiator of a heater is removed for replacement, it is necessary to merge liquid).
4. From a motor compartment mark the provision of a branch pipe 4 heaters and turn off a bolt of the 5th its fastening. Take out a branch pipe and together with hoses put aside.
5. Muffle openings in a radiator 3 (see rice. Heater radiator) heater.
6. On models with the electric heating element 2 disconnect a block 11 with wires from a plait on the left side of a heater and a "mass" wire 10.
7. Remove an adapter 3 (see rice. Removal of a casing of a radiator of a heater) lower air duct.
8. Remove spring brackets of 1 fastening of a casing of a radiator of a heater from three parties.
9. Lower and shift on yourself a casing 2 radiators of a heater to bring out of gearing its forward clamp 12 (see rice. Heater radiator).
10. Take out a casing of 1 radiator of a heater from under the dashboard on the right side.
11. Take out a radiator 3 heaters from a casing 1.
12. Replace the sealing rings of the 7th branch pipe torn or lost elasticity.
13. Establish a heater radiator upside-down. At the same time pay attention that the sticker 4 on it, specifying the bringing and taking away directions, has to be from above. Establish a branch pipe according to earlier made marking, having densely inserted it into a sealant 6 on a front board.
14. Check level and if necessary add cooling liquid (when replacing a radiator of a heater fill in new liquid in the engine cooling system).

The moments of an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of branch pipes of the heat exchanger – 20 N · m.
