11.8.8. Replacement of cables of the drive of a heater

Length of a cable 6 (see rice. Removal of the control panel of a heater) the drive of airdistributing gates in a cover of blue color makes 250 mm, cable length 4 drives of the gate of a radiator of a heater in a cover of violet color – 256 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a casing of the central console of the dashboard, having pushed at the same time the control panel of a heater inside (see subsection 11.6).

2. Having pressed a uvula of a latch 2 (see rice. A drive cable detachment from the control panel of a heater), disconnect one end of a cable of 1 drive of airdistributing gates from the panel 3 managements of a heater.

3. Having pressed by means of the screw-driver a latch 3 (see rice. A drive cable detachment from a heater), disconnect other end of a cable 2 from a heater.

4. Take out a cable 1 (see rice. Fixing of a cable of the drive of a heater in the holder) from the holder 2 on a heater.

5. Similarly remove a heater radiator gate drive cable.

6. Connect and record a cable of the drive of airdistributing gates on the adjusting device on a heater.

7. By means of a cable turn the gate of an obduv of a windshield so that it was completely open (see below).

8. Install the handle on control panels of a heater in situation "having blown in a windshield".

9. In this situation connect a cable to the control panel of a heater and record it.

10. Fix in the holder on a heater a cable of the drive of airdistributing gates.

Prevention

At the installed dashboard the gate of an obduv of a windshield is not visible. In this case connect cables to the control panel of a heater and turn on the fan on the maximum speed. Install the handle on control panels of a heater in situation "having blown in a windshield". Make sure that from a lattice of an obduv of a windshield air arrives, and from snuffled an obduva of legs did not. Otherwise disconnect a cable of the drive of airdistributing gates from the control panel, turn the handle of management of air supply on 360 °, again connect a cable and double-check correctness of work of a heater.

11. Connect and record a heater radiator gate drive cable on the lever a heater.

12. Turn a cable clockwise against the stop.

13. Install the handle on control panels of a heater in situation "heating is switched off".

14. In this situation connect a cable to the control panel of a heater and record it.

15. Turning the air temperature handle on the control panel of a heater, check work of a heater.
