10.5.3. Removal and installation of a washer reservoir with the electric pump

GENERAL INFORMATION

Washer reservoir

1 – hose;

2 – pump;

3 – connecting block;

4 – tank

The pump of a washer represents a non-demountable design and at all defects is subject to replacement.

Prevention

Do not turn on the pump electric motor if the zabornik of the pump is not shipped in liquid – the electric motor can burn down (short-term inclusion on 1–2 with for check of operation of the electric motor is allowed).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.

2. Remove the forward buffer.

3. Disconnect a block 3 (see rice. A washer reservoir) with wires from the pump 2 electric motor.

4. Disconnect hoses 1 from the pump 2.

5. Turn off two nuts 1 (see rice. Fastening of a washer reservoir) fastenings of a washer reservoir.

6. Remove a tank 2 washers and merge from it liquid.

7. Having accurately hooked the screw-driver, take out the pump from a washer reservoir.

8. Install a washer reservoir with the pump upside-down and fill in in it liquid.
