Prevention

ABS wires screened and to repair are not subject

In this section replacement of wires of sensors of forward wheels is described. As for replacement of wires of sensors of back wheels the special tool and connecting plugs of wires is necessary, this work is recommended to be carried out at service station.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the top casing of the engine (see subsection 2.1).

2. On models with the diesel engine of 1,9 l, 74 kW remove an airpressurization air duct, and also a hose between an inlet pipe of the engine and the top air duct.

3. Put forward a clamp 2 (see rice. A block detachment from the ABS control unit) blocks and, having pulled up, disconnect a block 3 from the block of 1 management.

4. Having hooked the screw-driver 2 (see rice. Removal of a cover of a connecting block), uncover 3 blocks.

5. By means of the screw-driver 3 (see rice. A detachment of a plait of wires from a block of the ABS control unit) move a clamp 2 violet colors in the direction specified by an arrow to release wires in a block.

6. Separate a plait of wires.

7. Push out the corresponding wires from a block. Numbers of contacts are provided on rice. Numbering of contacts (1-42) of a connecting block of the ABS control unit and in the tab. The chains connected to contacts of a block.

8. Remove the corresponding wheel.

9. Disconnect a block 1 (see rice. Fastening of a wire of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a forward wheel) with wires from the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel.

10. Take out a wire 3 of holders 2.

11. Establish a wire upside-down.

12. After fixing of a wire in holders twist a steering wheel against the stop to the right and to the left to be convinced that the wire does not stretch and does not cling to anything.

13. At connection of a wire to a block of the control unit track that isolation of a wire was inserted against the stop into a block opening. Record a braid of a plait of wires new collars.
