Repair and operation of the car

The cooling system – liquid, closed, with compulsory circulation of liquid.

The system consists of a shirt of cooling of the engine, a radiator, the water pump, the thermostat, a broad tank and connecting hoses and tubes. The heater radiator also is connected to the cooling system. Pressure in system creates the water pump which is put in action by a camshaft drive belt.

On a radiator the electric fan which joins and switched off depending on temperature of cooling liquid is installed. Temperature is determined by the sensor of turning on of the fan installed in a radiator. The electric fan has two speeds of rotation (see the tab. Cooling liquid has no smell, is poisonous and at hit in an organism causes severe food poisoning.

You carry out an inspection and repair of the cooling system on the cold engine, except for specifically stipulated cases. Otherwise it is possible to be traumatized (severe burns) as at the heated-up engine the system is under pressure.
