2. Engine

2.1. Removal of the top casing of the engine
GENERAL INFORMATION

The top casing of the engine is removed together with a stopper of an oil-filling mouth. On a block head under a casing the technological stopper of an oil-filling mouth is fixed. If it is not supposed to uncover a block head, close a technological stopper an oil-filling mouth.

PETROL ENGINES of 1,4 l, 55 I 74 kW

Removal of the top casing (engines of 1,4 l, 55 and 74 kW)

1 – top casing;

5 – stopper of an oil-filling mouth;

6 – index of level of oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Pull a forward part of a casing 1 up, and then back so that plastic latches of a casing left gearing.

PETROL ENGINES of 1,0 l, 37 kW And 1,4 l, 50 kW

Removal of the top casing (engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW)

1 – top casing;

2 – factory emblem;

3 – cap;

4 – nut;

5 – stopper of an oil-filling mouth;

6 – index of level of oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Having hooked the screw-driver, remove a factory emblem 2 and a cap 3.
2. Turn off two nuts 4 fastenings of a casing.
3. Take out the index of the 6th level of oil.
4. Remove a casing 1.

DIESEL ENGINES

Removal of the top casing of the diesel engine

1 – top casing;

5 – stopper of an oil-filling mouth;

6 – index of level of oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Pull a forward part of a casing 1 up so that plastic latches of a casing left gearing. Then shift a casing forward and remove it.
