8.3.2. Replacement of the case of the switch (lock) of ignition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Fastening of the case of the switch (lock) of ignition

1 – case of the switch (lock) of ignition;

2 – bolt of fastening of the case;

3 – steering column

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the understeering switch (see subsection 10.11).

2. Disconnect a block 1 (see rice. Connecting blocks of the switch (lock) of ignition) with wires of the switch (lock) of ignition.

3. Disconnect a block 4 with immobilizer wires.

4. Disconnect from the steering column "mass" a wire 3.

5. Remove the switch (lock) of ignition.

6. Take two bolts 2 (see rice. Fastening of the case of the switch (lock) of ignition) fastenings of the case of the switch (lock) of ignition with the broken heads. It can be made, for example, by means of the hammer and a chisel.

7. Remove the case of 1 switch (lock) of ignition.

8. Install the new case of the switch (lock) of ignition and fix it by new bolts with detachable heads. Tighten bolts until heads do not break.
