8.5.8. Replacement of highways of system of the amplifier of steering

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For convenience of work remove the forward buffer.

2. Turn off a cover 9 (see rice. Elements of the hydraulic amplifier of steering) a receiver and through a bulk mouth remove by means of a rubber pear working liquid from a receiver.

3. Remove forward wheels.

4. Remove локарь niches of a forward left wheel.

5. Take out the returnable highway 3 of three holders 4.

6. Wring out a spring latch and open the holder 1 (see rice. Extraction of a wire and highways from the holder). Take out from it pressure head 3 and returnable 2 highways.

7. Unclench by means of flat-nose pliers a collar 5 (see rice. Connection of highways to the pump unit) and accurately disconnect the returnable highway 4 from the union of the pump unit.

8. Turn off a nut 2 fastenings and disconnect the pressure head highway 3 from the pump unit.

9. Muffle the union and a carving opening of the pump unit.

10. Disconnect a back support 10 (see rice. Fastening of the steering mechanism on the car (without amplifier)) the power unit from the transmission, having turned off two bolts of the 9th fastening (bolts need to be replaced new).

11. Lower a beam of a forward suspension bracket (see subsection 7.2.5) approximately by 40 mm. At the same time do not allow damage of a wire of the sensor of the amplifier of steering (for reliability the wire of the sensor can be disconnected from the pump unit).

12. Turn off a hollow bolt 14 (see rice. Fastening of the steering mechanism on the car (with the amplifier)) fastenings also disconnect from a case of the steering mechanism at first the pressure head highway 16, and then the returnable highway 12, having turned off a nut of its fastening. Muffle openings in a case of the steering mechanism, for example, plastic traffic jams.

13. Remove highways.

14. Establish pressure head and returnable highways upside-down, using at the same time new sealing rings 13 and 15. Pay attention that at the returnable highway 12 a sealant of the 13th round section.

Prevention

The highway cannot bend strongly (diameter of a bend not less than 100 mm).

15. After installation add working liquid and pump over hydraulic system of the amplifier of steering (see subsection 8.5.10).

16. Check and, if necessary, adjust the angles of installation of wheels.
