7.3.5. Removal and installation of the shock-absorber

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish couplers on a spring 31 (see rice. Details of a back suspension bracket with drum brakes) a back suspension bracket from the removed shock-absorber and squeeze a spring a little. In the absence of a coupler the spring can be connected in the compressed state by a strong wire.
2. Turn off a bolt 23 lower fastenings of the shock-absorber, holding other key a nut 22 from a provorachivaniye. Take out a bolt 23.
3. Turn off two bolts 33 top fastenings of the shock-absorber.
4. Remove the shock-absorber 34 from the car.
5. Remove from the shock-absorber the holder 35.
6. Make sure that the rubber plug of the lower hinge is not turned in a shock-absorber eye, and its expansion plug – does not move when pressing.
7. Check operation of the shock-absorber, moving its rod to both parties against the stop. The rod has to move smoothly, without jamming and failures, and the effort of the course of return has to be much higher, than effort of the course of compression.
8. Pay attention to marking of the shock-absorber. Install the new shock-absorber with the same marking (the same manufacturer). If replace both shock-absorbers, their marking has to be identical.
9. Install the shock-absorber upside-down. At the same time 23 with a nut 22 lower fastenings and bolts 33 top fastenings of the shock-absorber replace a bolt new. The bolt head 23 lower fastenings at installation has to be directed to an internal part of the car. 23 you carry out a final inhaling of a bolt on the car standing on the earth.
