Installation of epiploons of a bent shaft

1 – forward epiploon;
2 – forward cover of the block of cylinders;

Pay attention that on the engine epiploons without podzhimny springs, with a ridge working edge 1 are established. Working edges of these epiploons cannot be greased before installation, the seat on a shaft also has to be dry and pure.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove локарь the right forward wing.
2. Take off a camshaft drive belt (see subsection 2.4.1).
3. Turn off a bolt of 1 fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft, holding at the same time a bent shaft from a provorachivaniye. At car repair shops for this purpose use devices T 30004 or MR 1-310 (2 – adaptation; 3 – pulley of a bent shaft).
4. Remove a pulley 3 bent shafts.
5. A stripper of sealing rings of MP 1-226 take out an old epiploon.
6. Wipe a bent shaft with a pure rag.
7. Put on a new epiploon a bent shaft a working edge in the block of cylinders by means of a suitable mandrel, for example T 10053/1.
8. Press an epiploon against the stop by means of a mandrel 1. At car repair shops for this purpose apply a mandrel of T 10053 with a bolt of T 10053/2 (1 – a mandrel of T 10053; 2 – bolt of T 10053/2).

If it is not possible to take out an old epiploon, then for its replacement it is possible to remove a forward cover of the block of cylinders. For this purpose remove a pulley of a bent shaft, having followed instructions in item 1-4, then carry out the following works:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an engine case (see subsection 3.1).
2. Turn off bolts of the 7th fastening and remove a forward cover 2. The cover is established on the D176404 A2 silicone sealant without laying, it is possible to tear off it from the block having brought down weak blows of the rubber hammer.
3. Take out from a cover the 2nd forward epiploon 1.
4. Carefully clear of oil and the remains of old sealant a seat under an epiploon in a cover and the interfaced surfaces of a cover and the block of cylinders.
5. Press by means of a suitable mandrel a new epiploon in a cover against the stop.
6. Apply silicone sealant on a cover (the place of putting sealant is shown by an arrow). At the same time you do not put too thick layer of sealant, thickness of a layer has to be 2–3 mm.
7. Put on the directing mandrel a bent shaft not to damage a working edge of an epiploon, and establish a cover into place. Bolts of fastening of a cover tighten evenly cross-wise the moment of 15 N · m.
8. Establish upside-down all removed details. Consider that sealant dries within 30 min. therefore it is possible to fill in oil in an engine case not earlier than in 30 min. after installation of a case.

PETROL ENGINES of 1,0 l, 37 kW And 1,4 l, 50 kW

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an antisplash guard of the right forward wing.
2. Take off a generator drive belt (see subsection 2.3).
3. Holding a bent shaft from a provorachivaniye, turn off a bolt 18 (see rice. Block of cylinders of engines of 1,0 l, 37 kW and 1,4 l, 50 kW) fastenings of a pulley.
4. Remove a pulley of the 17th drive of the generator.
5. Take out an epiploon 16 of a cover 15 by means of a stripper of sealing rings or having picked up the screw-driver. If the epiploon does not manage to be taken out, it is possible to uncover 15 distributive gear wheels, but in this case it is necessary to replace laying of the 20th cover.
6. Press a new epiploon against the stop, a working edge inside.
7. Establish all removed details upside-down.
