11.2.3. Removal and installation of the external handle of a door

GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal of the external handle of a door

1 – external handle;

2 – draft tip

Connection of a spring to the lever of the external handle

1 – hook;

2 – draft of the external handle;

3 – lever of the external handle;

4 – spring

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the lock cylinder.

2. Press the handle 1 (see rice. Removal of the external handle of a door) to the door panel also disconnect a tip 2 drafts from the handle 1.

3. Take out the handle from a door, having brought a hook in a forward part of the handle out of gearing with the holder 4 (see rice. Door lock details).

4. Bring a hook on a forward part of the handle to gearing with the holder 4 and insert the handle 6 into place.

5. Press the handle 1 (see rice. Removal of the external handle of a door) to the door panel also connect to it a tip of draft 2.

6. Check operation of the lock. If the handle does not come back to a starting position, so the end of an ottyazhny spring 4 (see rice. Connection of a spring to the lever of the external handle) jumped out of the lever 3. To connect a spring to the lever, insert into an opening under the lock cylinder a hook 1, hook them on the end of a spring 4 and enter it into a lever 3 hook.

7. Install into place the lock cylinder.
